 We called into this shop on the way home on Sunday .....

 we parked in a side street and walked there ....

loved this sign ....

oh and we bought a very nice pair stools !!!

A LITTLE MORNING STROLL

We stayed in Sydney on Saturday night ...

I couldn't sleep in so I went for a nice early stroll on

 Sunday morning  .....

I love it when the streets are quite and calm ....

(although I did walk past quite a few bars and quite a few people who were still in full partying Saturday night mode !!!)

WEEKEND LEMONS

  I found this lovely vintage cane basket at a local market on the weekend ....

 .... perfect for holding all our market lemons,

we do love our lemons in this household !!!

DRUNK ON THE MOON

 I have been wanting to visit this store for a while now and on Saturday we got the chance ....

Drunk on the Moon in Newtown (don't you just love the name, it's named after the Tom Waits song) is a treasure chest of really good, well selected pieces at very affordable prices,

 plus I love the owner Matt's philosophy  ......

(I'm so choosy where and who I buy from these days)

  these two tables ended up coming home with us 

 unfortunately not for me to keep (I'm sourcing items for a friends cafe)

although I'm having second thoughts about the smaller one, it's so lovely ......

.... oh and don't you just love the business card

.... think there may be lots more visits to come !!!

A LAZY SUNDAY

 It's been a very lazy Sunday here .....

which was just what we needed ......

  started reading this book .....

(enjoying it very much so far) 

lazed here .....

 our version of Unmade Beds  ......

  drank lots of green tea .....

 

..... and enjoyed the afternoon view from our deck 

 (In a perfect world I would live in the city but we really are pretty darn lucky to have this as a backyard !!!)

A NEW LITTLE ADDITION

We visited my mum today and met the newest addition to her animal family

a six week old miniature pig ....

she has named him Sebastian and he is the cutest little guy ever ....

 

 he only arrived yesterday and is already settling in very well ....

he seems to like his new little bedroom .....

 and exploring the yard .....

 and the house .....

 he came complete with this a very hip looking nose ring .....

  

 and a funny looking microchip on his ear  ....

 (looks like one of those anti- shoplifting tags) my mum is hoping it won't have to stay on forever  .....

 .... think he is going to be a lot of fun

we adore him already !!!

WEEKEND THINGS

 they actually make great little doorstops our boys ......

 ..... and some herbs that really need a bit of attention
